As a wedding Dj based in Fife I’ve done hundreds of mobile discos for weddings all over Fife.
Some more amazing wedding venues in central Fife are Windelestrae Hotel in Kinross and The Grouse and Claret in Kinross plus Tullibole Castle which is just outside Kinross.
Windelstrae Hotel has a beautiful function room and amazing gardens and also has a health club with swimming pool, sauna, steam bath and jacuzzi. Great for all your guests who are staying over and for the bride and groom of course.
Kinross Rugby Club also has a nice upstairs function room for smaller weddings or parties. I’ve played there lots of times.
Dollar also has lots of good venues that I’ve played in. I remember doing a fantastic gig for Dollar Academy for their students. It was a great gig and not only did I supply the disco but I also did lighting and PA hire too.
I have also done weddings and parties with my mobile disco in Glengarg at the Glenfarg Hotel which has a ground floor function room with easy access.
In Newburgh a regular venue for me was the Ship inn and in Abernethy we did the Corn Kist which isn’t a venue anymore unfortunately.
Auchtermuchty has a good council hall right in the middle of town and The Boar’s head now called The Forest Hills Hotel has a function room at the back of the hotel that I did discos in long ago.
Fernie Castle is another beautiful wedding venue in Fife. If your looking for a Castle wedding with all those great photo opportunities Neil and his team will look after you. With beautiful gardens and a lovely round function room at the back of the castle overlooking a small Loch.
Falkland has the amazing Falkland Palace and I remember doing a fabulous wedding there with one of the most emotional speeches I’ve ever heard from a groom at a wedding. The marquee was beautiful and it’s always nice for a Dj to do discos in a marquee as the white covers are like a blank canvas to a painter.
My mobile disco in a marquee looks amazing and I recommend always using my wireless mood lights in a marquee as if the power fails you’ll have emergency lighting as well as great looking disco lights.
